Furring Channel Clip Description

Direct Fix Furring Channel Clips provide a fast easy way to secure furring channel and batten to a variety of substrates. The N19 clip is used in conjunction with the N23 Furring Channel and is typically used for battening masonry or stud walls. The N19 clip is used where space is at a premium and the wall does not require services.

The N19 Clip's slim profile means that the Furring Channel sits hard against the wall, so no services can be run in the cavity. If services are required the N19 or N19N can be used in preference.

The N19 Clip is designed for use where no adjustment is required. If adjustment is required the N191N clip is designed for adjustment up to 160mm from the wall substrate.

Furring Channel Clip Applications

Fixing the N19 clip to a masonry wall provides the slimmest method of lining masonry walls. This method is typically used where structural masonry walls have to be lined with plasterboard for internal finish but maximum space is required.

As the N19 cannot be used very easily in walls with services it is most commonly used in High Rise Apartments Corridors, rather than Office Fitout.
